In case I notice that my keyboard is not working, I will follow the procedures mentioned below:

• I will shut down the computer, and check whether the keyboard is properly connected to the port;

• If it is not properly connected or the connection is found loose, I will refix it and turn on the computer again;

• I will clean up the virus running anti-virus software;

• If the problem is not fixed yet, I will then install a new keyboard.
