I have started my tutoring journey in January, 2011 while I have been pursuing my A Level. The very first subject I have taught as a professional is Accounting (O' Level). That student of mine was from Maple Leaf School and she used to get very poor grades in the mock examinations. I got the offer to teach her from one of my teachers and it was just a month remaining before her O Level Accounting examination. After reviewing her mock exam papers, I felt that she had problems in her basics. Then a miracle happened! She got A grade in her O 'Level Accounting exam. Well, the miracle didn't happen overnight. I corrected her basic concepts, taught her with practical examples and gave her reasoning. I told her to ask me questions as much as possible so that there was no place of misconception in her mind. She listened to me, worked hard and finally made her parents and her teacher proud with her meritorious result. This is almost the story of all of my students whom I have taught so far. I have taught many students during this 7 years, ranging from Std 1 to A Level. Even I have tutored a student from ACCA who gave her Paper 1 exam under my guidance. Furthermore, I have worked as an examiner in Vertical Horizon under Accounting Department from January-April 2011. It really feels great when someone can learn and take inspiration from me. I also learn new things every time I teach a student. Teaching is so much fun for me and my passion towards it is what keeps me moving!
