Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich

Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) is situated in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. It was founded in 1472 as the University of Ingolstadt by Duke William IV of Bavaria. The university was moved to Landshut in 1800 and finally to its current location in Munich in 1826.
