What do you know about document formatting?

Decorating a document in different styles is called document formatting. According to nature of work formatting are of there types, such as:

1. Letter formatting: The size of writing, shape, 4 colour, Front Style, super Script, Sub-script etc of a document is determined by letter formatting.

2. Paragraph or sub-para formatting: Decoration of para is called paragraph formatting. In other way, it can be said that to characterise para in different ways is called paragraph formatting. The jobs which are done by paragraph formatting are –

• Line spacing

• Paragraph spacing

• How the first letter of the paragraph will show

• Index

• Alignment etc.

3. Page formatting: In the page formatting there are sizes of Paper, Margin, Header, Footer, Foot note, attachment of page numbers etc.
