Angina
Angina is a type of chest pain experienced due to reduced blood flow. As the arteries supplying blood to the heart muscles become narrowed by a build-up of fatty substances (also known as ‘Atherosclerosis’), the blood doesn’t receive the proper amount of blood. Angina is one of the common reasons related to chest pain.
Some of the symptoms of Angina are:
- Experiencing chest pain behind the sternum
- Burning, pressure, or tightness in the chest area
- Frequent breathing or shortness of breath
