NATO
NATO signifies as North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It is a treaty
of 30 countries from around the world. NATO was formed in 1949 to protect Western Europe from the Soviet Union and its allies. The organization was designed to discourage Soviet expansion and promote European political integration. NATO was created to protect its members from attack by any other country. It is a military defense alliance.
