The measures that are to be taken in different conditions of heart disease

Due to various physical and mental issues, people can face different problems in their hearts. Apart from heart problems, people can also experience chest pain, which is very common nowadays. There can be multiple reasons for experiencing chest chains. Any sudden shock, mental disturbance or physical problem can cause chest pain. In most cases, chest pain is not caused due to heart disease; the pain experienced is due to other medical issues.

Some common non-cardiovascular diseases and their cause of chest pain are:

  • Pleurisy- Inflammation of the lining of the lungs due to viral infection.
  • Pulmonary embolism- Blood clots from pelvic or lower limb veins enter the lungs causing pulmonary infraction, severe chest pain and cough.
  • Costochondritis- Inflammation of the junction of the thoracic cartilages.
  • Nerve pressure- Bone pressure on nerve roots causes chest and upper arms pain. 
  • Anxiety and panic attacks, panic pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or fainting. 

Measures for the prevention of coronary heart disease

  • Eating healthy food and maintaining a proper diet.
  • Avoid laziness and start being physically active and fit.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol for a healthier life.
  • Keeping blood pressure and diabetes in control.
  • Quit smoking.
  • Maintaining a proper body weight.
